Why does it take so long for the software to open? Sometimes I have to wait over a minute before it's finished loading!

There are two ways to reduce Clear Estimates' load time:

1) Usually long load times are caused by the program's Auto Backup feature, which makes a copy of your database file when the program loads. By default the software is set to backup the database every time the software is opened, which is definitely overkill, especially because you should be manually backing up the database to an external location on a regular basis anyway.

This process can take a particulary long time if you have a large database file that is stored on a server or another computer's hard drive, because each time the software is opened it must duplicate the file and transfer it across your network.

To reduce the frequency of this backup or disable the feature open the software and choose Utilities/Settings from the menu bar. The backup settings are toward the bottom of this list.

2) Minimize the size of your database file by opening it with Microsoft Access and using the "Compact and Repair Database" feature to optimize your file. This can dramatically reduce the size of the file and improve the performance of the software.

I think it is because of your processor.
This is a heavy software and if u have already installed two or three other heavy software then it will take time and also affect performance of computer.
