Convert
Estimate to an Invoice
Once the estimate has been opened in QuickBooks, do the
following:
- Click the “Create Invoice”
button.

- If prompted that “Items
not assigned classes”, click “Save Anyway”.
- Choose the first option, “Create
invoice for the entire estimate”.
- Click “OK”.

- If prompted that “Items
not assigned classes”, click “Save Anyway”.

- In the “Total %” column, QuickBooks
should properly assign values of “100%”. For material costs, however, this
is not automatically done. Click directly on top of the “0.0%” values and
change them to “100%”. Use the down arrow key to quickly navigate from one
line to the next.

- You’re finished! Verify
that the Invoice Total matches that of the Estimate Total.
