First impressions are everything! Exterior improvement projects prove to have the best returns for homeowners, according to Remodeling Magazine’s 34th annual Cost vs. Value report.

By investing in exteriors, homeowners increase their chances of selling - and getting the most out of their investment.

‍

Garage door replacements, for example, saw a 94% recovery rate for the job cost.

‍

Conversely, major kitchen remodels saw only a 54% recovery rate.

According to Remodeling Magazine,

“Exterior projects retain their strong return on investment: ‘Curb appeal’ and ‘first impressions’ are strong concepts in real estate because they have a big impact on how much money prospective home buyers are willing to pay for a home.”
