Project Numbers Now Available!
There are plenty of reasons why your estimates might need a project number. You may have an existing system for organizing your estimates numerically, or maybe a claim number is required for insurance.
No problem! Clear Estimates has recently added the option to include estimate / project numbers in any of your projects. This is a great way to organize your proposals using an estimate number, project number, or claim number.
When this option is enabled, Clear Estimates will automatically generate project numbers for each new estimate. These numbers will auto-increment for each new project you create - so you won’t need to adjust those each time!
Here's how it works:
To enable project numbers, head to your Options tool and click Project Number (under Preferences):
Then, just click the option to Enable Project Number :
Next choose your prefix, and choose a starting number. Then just be sure to click Save at the bottom!
Then, every time you create a new project, it will automatically assign a project or estimate number. This number can be seen in the project itself, as well as on your reports!
